Can I have a group video call with Web Party Time?

While we do not have an integrated video calling service, many of our hosts choose to set up a group video call with their event. Whether you're having an in-person event or just an online event, a group video call can be a great way to bring everyone together to celebrate.

Many hosts use a free service such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Jitsi. Hosts can post a link to their video call on their custom event website so guests can easily find it on the day of the call.

How do I customize my Web Party?

After ordering, you will receive an email with instructions to login to your host page. This will give you access to edit the text on your site, upload pictures to the scrapbook, and post gift registry links.

How do I invite my guests?

You will be able to set a custom URL/link for guests to access the site. This is all you need to send to them to invite them to the party!

How do my guests participate?

Option 1: Invite your guests and they can visit the website any time! Each person can sign the guestbook, view scrapbook, and the play the online games on their own time at their own pace.

Option 2: Use the website as an invitation to a video meetup party. Guests can see the gift registries and scrapbook ahead of time. Then they can play the online games while chatting on video all together.

Can I host a shower for someone who is adopting?

Absolutely! Our sites are very customizable. We can even work with you to change the text and headings to meet your needs. Is the guest-of-honor adopting an older child? We can help you choose games that don’t reference babies, or we can modify existing games.

How much technical knowledge do I need to set up my Web Party?

Your Host Page will make it easy to select a page to edit and make changes. We have been creating virtual baby shower sites for the past three years, and the purpose of our latest update was to make editing your site easier than ever.

If you do run into a problem, you can send an email to our help desk and we will do our best to help get you through it.

How long will my event last?

This is up to you! We will keep your site up and running for a default of two months. This will give you time to customize it and invite guests before holding the actual event. We think a few weeks is enough time to hold the actual event and give all guests an opportunity to participate and interact with the website, but you can keep the party going longer if you’d like. Just make sure you have announced game winners before the two months is up!
